Over the past 24 months I have had the pleasure of working with Nancy Frisch. She has coached and
mentored me during my transition from product development to an existing product group, and in the
latter stages, collaborated with me on organizational development for my managers and key employees.
Nancy is without a doubt the most effective and insightful coach that I have worked with in my 32
year tenure in the technology field. She spends the time to understand both her subjects and the
environment in which they operate so that she can tailor the coaching to the particular situation at
hand. She quickly gains credibility with both her subjects and the peers and management of the person
being coached. She is quick to pick up the nuances of the technology that the individuals she’s coaching
are working with. After a few months, talking with her is the equivalent to collaborating with a technical
colleague…something that is quite rare in a consultant.
During her time here she has helped me understand the roles and responsibilities of my position,
and how to successfully navigate the hurdles inherent in the organization to become successful at
performing my job. She makes this possible because she brings the insight of an outside perspective
to the one we have internally. Personally, she is a warm and witty individual and someone that can be
trusted; a team player.
